Croatia is a republic on the eastern side of the Adriatic Sea. It has got  a long beautiful coastline of 5.835 km (incl. the islands). The population is about 4.5 million.

It is a gorgeous country with historic cities and ancient forests, mountain ranges and sunlit beaches. It has 1185 islands  of which Krk, Acres, Brac and Hvar are the largest. 67 of the islands are inhabited.

Camping Peros is located in one of the regions of Croatia which is called Dalmatia.

Dalmatia  is one of the oldest parts in Europe, famous for its rich history, beautiful beaches, architectural monuments, exquisite Mediterranean cuisine.  

Hundreds of years of history surround Dalmatia. Many of the towns and small villages along the coast, are originated from antique or the middle ages. Some of them have kept the memory about the times of the Romans.

The coast of this region is one of the most beautiful places on the Earth: wonderful natural surroundings, many secluded bays and coves, endless pine forests, stepped up to the edge of the sea.
